A diary of experiences was created by the employees of Market Építő Zrt. and the UNIONE Group during the pandemic
The pandemic has presented unprecedented challenges to people with various levels of physical, mental, and emotional health. In a short time, we lost our sense of security, and the world became filled with desperate grandparents, withdrawn young people, and bewildered adults. Fear, stress, and anxiety have triggered negative emotions and responses in many.
Mentour – a special inner journey
The idea of Mentour was born in this situation: a special experience journal that helps maintain mental health – but it is also suitable for much more. The authors aimed to teach the journal to focus on what matters and spend valuable time – with ourselves.

Mentour is essentially an inner journey during which we can get to know ourselves better: our goals, desires, and motivations. Its use is straightforward: you need to answer questions in the journal on various topics. There is no other task than to answer them honestly.
The four pillars of Mentour
The first is goal awareness. In the daily grind, we do more and more things mechanically, out of habit. We do not articulate the truly important things. We do not live; we merely exist. Mentour helps articulate our goals, teaches us to plan, and to express the essential things.
With Mentour a new perspective can be acquired, which holds significant value not only in our daily lives but also in our work: thanks to this, we can forget the „because that’s how we do it…” type of sentences. Mentour teaches us to develop new habits that move us forward every day.
The third keyword is self-awareness: this is particularly important for our development. Many people struggle with insufficient self-awareness, which affects their daily lives, their existence, and their work. Mentour helps in developing proper self-awareness so that everyone can be aware of their own values and see the possibility of growth.
The fourth keyword of Mentour is systems thinking, which helps ensure that the day does not just slip through our fingers, but a transparent, effective system can be brought into our everyday lives.
„Mentour helps you start each day with the mindset that today is your day. Something is brewing, something has started, you want something new, change, and a system in your life.” Laura Puszta

The creator of the experience journal Zsolt Bencze, the managing director of the UNIONE Group, besides him, the project included Puszta Laura, the operational HR manager of Market Építő Zrt. and Csaba Kiss, the marketing manager of the group participated. The joint work began with a full-day weekend workshop, and the writing and discussion of the individual chapters also took place on weekends – for nearly 10 months. At the beginning of the joy project, the authors reviewed numerous similar-themed diaries, blogs, and websites before establishing the unique voice and style of Mentour.
Step out of your comfort zone!
The experience diary consists of three main parts. The goal was for the diary to be usable in everyday life, which is why a planner calendar was placed at the beginning of the publication. Following that are the 8 chapters of the Mentour program covering various topics with questions. At the end of the diary, there are note pages that are useful for everyday work.
The publication also differs from its competitors in that it was made in premium quality, ensuring that users can enjoy it throughout the year.

„MENTOUR helps you to step out of your comfort zone, dare to rephrase sentences that can impact your destiny, your future, your relationships, your everyday life.” Bencze Zsolt
The first edition of Mentour is not available for commercial sale, it was made for internal company use.
