A marketing communication podcast titled "Kreatúra" was launched by two advertising professionals: Pál Hegedűs and Péter Jacsó.
Pali and Péter have been working in the communication sector for two decades. In their latest project, they discuss the Big Questions of Marketing and Advertising through storytelling and a lot of entertaining examples.
The great achievement of the KreaTúra podcast is that, although it is still in its early episodes, its own language and style are already evident. They speak to advertisers and marketers in their own language, but they constantly wink between the lines, which makes each episode not only professional but also very entertaining. This is a podcast that can be confidently „consumed” by those who are just getting to know marketing or are currently learning the tricks of the trade.
From the previous episodes, it seems that the setup remains: two permanent experts clash their viewpoints and share their experiences. Pali and Péter seek the truth with different background knowledge and perspectives while encouraging the listener to think and raise new questions.
It is a special joy for me that the hosts are great fans of advertising history: half a dozen ads come under their spotlight in each episode. The stories, anecdotes, and colorful background information are well-dosed and last throughout the entire show.
Another great achievement of KreaTúra is that it deals with client-agency relationships with unvarnished honesty. Since both professionals have experience on both the agency and client sides, it is definitely worth paying attention to these finely tuned educational messages, as we can all learn from them. Both sides are equally results-oriented: a close client-agency relationship ideally means bolder campaigns and better sales.
KreaTúra Podcast 01: Does everything start with the brief?
The first episode explores the phenomenon of the brief, with plenty of stories, valuable background information, and occasionally laugh-out-loud observations. Students spend a long time at universities mastering the art of writing briefs, yet it often happens that at this point, sand gets into the machinery. Whose responsibility and interest is it to prepare the right brief? What happens if the brief goes wrong? In response to the latter question, we also get a very interesting story featuring George Bush.
The show also answers the important question of whether the client needs to understand briefing at all. I can reveal that the hosts reach a surprising consensus...
KreaTúra Podcast 02: Creative inspiration or shameless theft?
The second episode maps the thin line between „theft” and inspiration. It shows that the two concepts actually cannot exist without each other. Perhaps it's all a matter of perspective: what may seem like shameless theft from one viewpoint could be the world's most original idea from another.
The episode also reveals who the creatively inspired „muses” are that influence the two hosts.
The topic of the third part is the role and impact of trash ads, and the podcast will be available for listening from November 1.

A few words about the hosts
Péter Tivadar Jacsó his passion is digital media, which he has been dealing with for 20 years, as the Jacsomedia Digital Agency its creative director. In his free time, he plays his guitars or wears out his running shoes.
He started his career as a decorator, but soon realized that self-adhesive foil stretches in summer, breaks in winter, meaning it only brings problems. That's why he switched to digital advertising. He prefers to deal with online marketing. He enjoys participating in the visual and UX design of digital products. Additionally, developing and optimizing processes also presents an exciting challenge for him.
He wants to share his experiences to shorten the development of others. The KreaTúra podcast is a good channel for this, as well as an area that offers challenges and opportunities for growth.
He recommends this podcast to those involved in marketing and creative developments, whether on the client side or as production professionals. Each episode provides inspiration and new knowledge.

Pál Hegedűs the head of the Brandventure advertising agency, an economist, and a fanatic of impactful advertisements. In civilian life, he is a father of two with half a dozen hobbies ranging from vinyl records to gastronomy to squash. He graduated in advertising from the foreign trade faculty. David Harsányi's classes had a significant impact on me, where he invited external speakers to present. This is where my enthusiasm for advertising originates.
He started working as a marketer on the client side, having worked at several multinationals from Unilever to l’Oréal. He spent the last decade leading an advertising agency.
He has a strong production focus, specializing in office decoration, store furnishing, and POS development. He deals with marketing strategy and impact mechanism analysis. He churns out advertising stories 24/7, which is why the KreaTúra podcast is an organic medium for channeling this. He loves witty, surprising stories. The advertising world is built on this. He showcases the best of these in the show.
According to Pál, their show can primarily be useful for those interested in creative work and who want to peek behind the scenes. More broadly, it is for anyone who loves advertisements and even for those who don't, as both camps will find ammunition for their arguments.
