This is what the coolest August advertisement in Forbes looks like!
Advertising with a blank page in Forbes? What a cheeky and impressive idea! That was my first thought when I saw the advertisement from Kreatív Kontroll (marketingszöveg.com) – and I admit it made me feel good.
It reminded me of Klapka's 2014 print advertisement in HVG („I'M ALREADY BORED”): the same honest, purposeful, straightforward, pure communication. Playful typography that almost evokes visual poetry. Disrespect for the available space.

The end result is impressive: this is an advertisement that changes the lighting conditions and – I can only repeat – it makes me feel good. Because it is as confident and bold as a cheeky, honest teenager pushing boundaries. Because it is concise and wise, like a haiku.
Zoli Sipos (Kreatív Kontroll) wrote this about the concept on LinkedIn – it's worth reading because his beliefs about (good) marketing are just as spot-on as the creative idea itself:
„We bought a full-page advertisement in Forbes' August issue because we believe that a good entrepreneur sees marketing as an investment and not a mandatory expense. Successful marketing generates profit, thus building a successful business. A successful business provides freedom. Good marketing therefore frees the entrepreneur.
We advertise marketing because we believe in it, we experience how valuable it is ourselves.” #mertjoamarketingunk
